Madeline DeMarco is a graduate student pursuing her Master's of Public Health in Health Behavior and Education through the University of Michigan's School of Public Health. Originally from Brighton, Michigan, Madeline received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology and Spanish from the University of Michigan's School of Literature Science & the Arts in 2018. As an undergraduate student, Madeline worked in Dr. Scott Pletcher's lab using the fruit fly, Drosophila melanogaster, as a model system to study the genetics of aging. In addition, Madeline played clarinet in the Michigan Marching Band for four years. She also served as both the clarinet section leader and a rank leader her senior year.
