EUPHONIUMS
The euphonium section is a perfectly sized friend group and family. The section is full of passionate members with all kinds of interests and hobbies, and this community provides a valuable support system. Being a small section, the members greatly value the connection they all share to become close to one other.
Two rank leaders and one section leader make up the student leaders of the euphonium section.
Prospective students are encouraged to reach out to their instrument’s section leader for the 2024-25 season to ask questions about auditioning or to learn more about their section and the ensemble. Please use the subject line “MMB Prospective Member Questions” when emailing section leaders.

WHAT IS THE EUPHONIUM SECTION’s favorite…
part of band week?
Playing a secret euphonium game called "Bottle Ball" in the diag once the returners join the student leaders and new members. It's the first time our whole section is together!
rehearsal tradition?
Gathering around the 10-yard line and throwing our hands in the middle after announcements and yelling "Awwwww Euphs!"
social activity?
Taco-Tuesdays have become a staple in the section house as we watch the Bachelorette.
game day tradition?
Waking up in the section house to Konis Hupen, an obnoxious polka!
